Master Build & Design was founded in 2021 by Fabian Diaz and is a general contractor in Long Branch, New Jersey. The company is new, the people behind it are not. Fabian and his working partners, Woodly Deroses and Rodrigo Brochado, brought more than 20 years of combined experience in residential construction to the business on day one. Kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole house remodels, full custom builds. Work they had already been doing for other contractors for years before they decided to run it the right way under their own name.

We walk through your home together. You tell us what you want the space to feel like, how you use it now, and what is not working. We listen, ask questions, and give you an honest read on what the space can support. We will talk about budget range, realistic timelines, and what to expect during construction. If we are not the right fit for the project, we tell you at this stage so you can find someone who is.
Before any demolition happens, we plan the full project with you. Cabinetry, flooring, tile, hardware, paint colors, plumbing fixtures, all selected and confirmed before work begins. We walk you through the options, explain the tradeoffs between materials, and help you make decisions you will be happy with long after the project is done.
 
This is the step that prevents most of the headaches homeowners hear about with remodeling. When everything is decided before the first swing, change orders become rare and your budget stays where you expected it.
Our crew executes the plan. You get regular updates on what was completed and what is coming next. We keep the job site clean, we protect the rest of your home from dust and debris, and we stay on schedule. When we hand the project back, it is finished, not 95% done with a list of things we will get to “next week.”

What "High End" means at Master Build & Design

Every contractor claims to do “high end” work, so it is worth defining what that actually means here. It means we do not install builder grade anything on a remodel unless you specifically ask for it. It means the cabinet boxes under your new kitchen remodel are solid, not cardboard. It means the tile in your shower is laid over a proper waterproof membrane, not stuck onto drywall. It means trim that returns cleanly into the wall, outlets that are level with the backsplash, and grout lines that actually line up.
We work directly with supplier partners including Sherwin-Williams, Pella Windows, Floor & Decor, ABC Supply, Durato, and W.W. Grainger. Because we source cabinets directly from manufacturers instead of through middleman distributors, our kitchen projects tend to land below what comparable remodelers quote without losing material quality. When the middle markup disappears, the savings goes to you.
