We cut out the damaged section, install a proper backing, set new drywall, tape, mud, sand, and texture-match the patch so it’s invisible once painted. Water Damage Drywall Repair
Water-damaged drywall needs to be cut out completely, not just dried and painted over. We remove the damaged sections, verify the framing and insulation behind the wall are dry and structurally sound, replace insulation where needed, and rebuild the wall or ceiling so there’s no evidence the damage happened. If the source of the leak hasn’t been addressed yet, we coordinate that as part of the project scope.
