Are you licensed to do remodels in New Jersey?

Yes. Master Build & Design holds NJ Home Improvement Contractor License #13VH12477300. All licensed home improvement contractors in New Jersey are required to register with the Division of Consumer Affairs, carry liability insurance, and comply with the Contractor's Registration Act.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We pull all necessary permits through the local building department and coordinate required inspections throughout the project. Permit requirements vary by municipality and project type, but common triggers include structural changes, electrical work, plumbing modifications, and additions. We handle this from start to finish so you don't have to navigate the municipal process yourself.

How do consultations work?

Fabian will meet you at your home, walk through the space, discuss what you're looking to accomplish, and take measurements. From there, we put together a detailed scope of work and estimate. There's no charge for the initial consultation and no obligation to move forward.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Yes. Every Master Build & Design project comes with a one-year workmanship warranty. If any aspect of our installation or construction work fails within that period, we return and correct it at no additional cost. Material warranties are separate and vary by manufacturer.

Are you a general contractor?

A general contractor manages all aspects of a construction or remodeling project. That includes coordinating trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall), ordering materials, pulling permits, scheduling inspections, and making sure every phase of work meets code and quality standards. At Master Build & Design, we handle most of this work in-house rather than subcontracting it out, which gives us tighter control over quality and timelines.

Do you also offer drywall installation?

Whether it's a new construction project that needs walls hung from scratch or a remodel that left holes, patches, and uneven surfaces behind, we handle all phases of drywall work. That includes hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing to a smooth, paint-ready surface. Drywall is one of those trades where the quality of the finish work determines whether a room looks professional or amateur, and our crew treats it with the same attention we give every other part of the project.
